Music

Sound of joy, grief and unity

Their music has always been important to the Tater people. It has brought a lot of joy and has been a comfort during difficult times. Many remember evenings in front of the fire on the plains or by islets and reefs when everyone in the family was singing the old Tater ballads with yearning and sadness. Today, their music is an important identity marker for the Tater people and continues to create unity and joy.
